Recently, I was talking to a friend who owned a Traeger about whether or not they could cook pizza on their stone. I told them, “Sure you can, as long as you have a good pizza stone!” Of course, this begs the question, what’s the best Traeger pizza stone?

Whether you’re cooking a supreme pizza or a delicious taco pizza, Pizzacraft’s 15-inch square pizza stones are also a great fit for your Traeger grill. They offer an extra 3 inches on the side than the Unicraft stone, which gives you a bit more space. However, the larger size may mean that they can’t fit into some of the smaller Traeger grills, so just be sure to double-check your measurements.

If you prefer to use a more traditional circular-shaped pizza stone, then I can’t recommend the Kamado Joe pizza stone enough. I’ve been using mine for several months now and have been extremely satisfied with it. It features extra-thick ceramic that you’ll never have to worry about breaking or cracking under heat, and it’s guaranteed to cook your pizza a lot faster.
How Do I Clean My Pizza Stone After Using It On The Grill?
You may find that your pizza stone gets a bit dirty after using it inside of your Traeger grill. All of the smoke can blacken the stone and the pizza itself may leave crusted bits of toppings or cheese on the stone. Thankfully, it’s a fairly simple process to clean it!

If you own a Traeger grill, then there’s no reason why you can’t bake a great pizza on it. However, the key to baking an excellent pie is to use a ceramic pizza stone. In my opinion, the rectangular Unicook pizza stone fits perfectly into the space in your Traeger grill.
